Vaping to be banned in cars carrying children under Government plans

Jamie Strachan, operations director at VPZ | The Vaping Specialist, said: “VPZ supports measures that are designed to protect children from exposure to age-restricted products.

“Safeguarding young people must remain a priority, and we back sensible, proportionate steps that prevent under-18s from being exposed to or accessing products intended strictly for adults.

“Vaping products are age-restricted and intended for adult smokers looking for a less harmful alternative to cigarettes.

“Clear differentiation between smoking and vaping is essential to ensure adult smokers are not discouraged from switching, while young people remain protected.”
