Matt Britzman, senior equity analyst at Hargreaves Lansdown, said: “Palantir has delivered another impressive quarter, showing just how well it’s positioned to ride the growing wave of AI adoption across businesses and governments.
“The story here is clear: Palantir isn’t just talking about AI – it’s making it work in real-world operations, and that’s a powerful advantage.
“Analysts will likely bump up their price targets, but it’s hard to see how traditional valuation models would have much upside from current levels.
“Still, with the stock up about 175 per cent this year before these results, the market seems focused on momentum and the bigger picture than the output from some spreadsheets.
“But chasing that momentum comes with risk, and there’s very little room for mistakes at today’s prices.
“Palantir might be the best pure play on applied AI, but the risk/reward looks tight.
“For long-term believers, the story is strong, but the margin for error is razor thin.”
