Biography
Neil is head of comms and marketing at the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates (SIBA).
He is an accredited beer sommelier, international beer judge, trained broadcast journalist, conference speaker, and published beer writer, with over a decade’s experience as an expert in the independent beer and brewing industry.
Most recently heading up the much-heralded Indie Beer campaign, helping consumers discover beer from genuine independent breweries across the UK. The campaign has led to major changes in the beer industry and is recognised by a third of young beer drinkers. It also featured in all major news outlets including a headline editorial in The Guardian and 12 ITV News pieces across the UK.
