A seasoned economic and climate justice campaigner, Robert is deputy director at Uplift.

He provides strategic leadership, builds key external partnerships and is a spokesperson for the organisation.

Before joining Uplift, Robert was the first executive director of Tax Justice UK, campaigning for a fairer, and more effective tax system.

The team Robert built helped to put wealth taxation onto the political agenda, winning major policy reforms along the way.

Prior to that, Robert led a multi-award winning team at Global Witness, focused on how the financial system facilitates corruption and conflict.

Robert has testified before the UK and European parliaments, as well as spoken at the annual TED conference.
