George is programme director for the Marine Stewardship Council in the UK and Ireland.
He leads the MSC's work in the region, ensuring that its programme is adopted, accessible and delivering impact across UK fisheries, the market and in connecting with consumers.
George also leads MSC's engagement with government and NGOs in the region, ensuring that its work is widely appreciated in the context of UK and Ireland food and fishing policy.
Before stepping into his current position, he spent six years in commercially-focused roles for the UK and Ireland outreach team.
