Simon is senior lecturer in physiology at Anglia Ruskin University.

He is an internationally renowned expert commentator on the impact of weight loss drugs and the physiological basis of body weight regulation.

He has appeared in over 300 print, TV and radio interviews on this topic, as well as appearing at the Cheltenham Science Festival, Chelmsford Science Festival, New Scientist Live and SXSWLondon.

Simon's research focuses on the physiology of appetite regulation and body weight, as well as the wider impacts of weight loss drugs on health.
