# Dr Ed Turner

Reader in Politics, Co-Director of Aston Centre for Europe, Aston University

Ed is reader in politics, co-director of Aston Centre for Europe at Aston University.

He is also the chair of International Association for the Study of German Politics.

Ed has published many books and articles on the subject of German politics.

He was seconded to the UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) for over two years to provide expertise on German and European politics.
