# Steve Knibbs

Director, Vodafone Business Security Enhanced, VodafoneThree

Steve is director of the Vodafone business security enhanced unit at VodafoneThree.

He began his career in the British Army, serving six years as a radio and telecoms engineer with the Royal Signals Parachute Squadron, before spending three years at GCHQ supporting overseas military operations in conflict zones.

He then joined Cable and Wireless, holding a wide range of engineering, operational, project, client and sales leadership roles, ultimately leading the secure services division, which became Vodafone Business Security Enhanced (VBSE) following Vodafone’s acquisition.

Steve now leads VBSE within Vodafone Business UK and also serves as chair of the techUK national security committee, representing and advancing the interests of the UK’s national security technology sector.
