Director of Health Services, Equity and Improvement, Prostate Cancer UK

Amy is director of health services, equity and improvement at Prostate Cancer UK, where she plays a key role in driving awareness, engagement, and support for men affected by prostate cancer.

She joined the charity in 2018, and with a strong background in health campaigning and public engagement, Amy has been instrumental in shaping initiatives that encourage men to understand their risk and seek early diagnosis, including leading on the creation and delivery of Prostate Cancer UK’s award-winning online Risk Checker.

Amy also has a close personal connection to the cause, as she lost her father to prostate cancer in 2013.

Throughout her career, Amy has focused on delivering impactful, evidence-based programmes that connect communities, healthcare professionals, and policymakers.

She is passionate about reducing health inequalities and ensuring that men from all backgrounds have access to clear information, timely testing, and high-quality care.

Her work supports Prostate Cancer UK’s mission to fund lifesaving research, improve diagnostic pathways, and provide practical and emotional support to patients and their families.

Amy previously worked at Diabetes UK – working nationally to tangibly improve diabetes care through clinical education, leadership development and establishing services that support better care delivery.
