# People urged to grow their pensions as 52% ‘have never checked their pot’

Boring Money chief executive officer Holly Mackay said: “Our data shows that less than half of non-retired pension holders (46 per cent) are aware of the government tax relief on pension contributions.

“One in two workplace pension investors didn’t realise their pension was invested and four in 10 workplace pension holders can’t name their workplace pension provider.”
