“His desire to continue working for as long as possible is something we see regularly, and for many people who receive a diagnosis, life does go on as normal.

“Despite the fear and uncertainty a diagnosis can bring, there is hope on the horizon with multiple treatments under review by regulators or undergoing clinical trials.

“It is critical that if people feel they – or a loved one – are experiencing any symptoms, they speak to their GP.”
